THE RECOVERY SPACE

 

At Physioevolved we know that taking time to do what is needed for recovery is extremely important and sometimes finding the time and resources to do this at home is nearly impossible. One of the most effective ways to overcome the barrier to exercise is to schedule it into your diary like any other work meeting or catch up with friends.

Our recovery space allows you to do your stretches and strengthening exercises in a quiet and specialised space. We have rollers, OOVs, spiky and yamuna balls, a theragun, free weights and swiss balls which can be used for self massage and stretching. We also have ‘RECOVERY SYSTEMS’ for the leg and arms  which are pneumatic lymphatic drainage which help with recovery after a big training session, post operative swelling and lymphodema. These cost over $2000 retail so it is well worth utilising our set!

We have clinical Pilates equipment which can be used unsupervised once you have had clearance by your Physiotherapist that you are ready to use it safely.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO USE THE RECOVERY SPACE? 10-sessions will cost $150 (6-month expiry) or casual sessions are $25.

HOW DO I BOOK? You will need to see one of our physiotherapists before having access to the recovery space. At this appointment you will learn how to use the appropriate equipment, fill in a consent form and be given a code for the door. Once you are on our system as a member you can pop in anytime out of Physio hours.

WHEN CAN I DO MY RECOVERY SESSION? Recovery Space hours will vary depending on when the Physiotherapists are working but the available hours will be on a poster at the bottom of the stairs). The space is always available on Thursday and Friday evenings between 4-8pm and weekends 8am-8pm.
